An incredible event

Leo Rainbow, (President Safaa Kemmou Chekroun), is an association organized and run by students of Sunderland Morocco, it has been created in association with the Lions Club (Naima Chekroun and her team) and Arc-en-ciel (Mounia Hachquer and her team).
On the 11th June the students organized an outing for the “association marocaine pour la protection de l'enfant et de la famille”, inviting 11 men, 13 women and 40 female orphans.
Sponsorship for the event was provided by the University and the students would like to express their appreciation to the President Dr Tariq Obaid for his support and generosity.
The students would also like to express their gratitude to Sarah Jawad and her family who organised the venue.
When the guests arrived they were greeted by the students with the traditional greeting of dates and milk.
A BBQ was provided and prepared by the students and during the event traditional Moroccan musicians were in attendance to entertain all the guests.
During the event the students and guests played cards, chess and danced to the music and also had an opportunity to have a Henna tattoo.
At the end of the event gifts were provided to all the guests and the remaining food was given to the Nursing home.
