If you are a business in Casablanca looking for a student/graduate to work with you, perhaps on a specific project you may have had to delay but never had the time to develop. Please call Antony Mallinson on 0522 211 680 or e-mail antony.mallinson@sunderland.ac.ma

What sort of work is suitable for an internship?
The internship should offer the student/graduate a challenging learning experience. Some examples of the type of work a student/graduate could complete as part of an internship could include:

a) Implementing a marketing campaign
b) Coordinating a project
c) Reviewing your company website
d) Conducting a particular piece of research
e) Conducting a process review

What is the typical length of an internship?
The typical length of an internship is 12 weeks, however the scheme and the graduates are flexible and we are happy to discuss your specific requirements on a case by case basis

What if I don’t think the shortlisted candidates are suitable?
Please provide us with feedback on the applications we have sent and we will let you know whether we have any other individuals who might meet your requirements. If we do not feel that we can fulfil the requirements of the internship we will advise you accordingly.

What do I do if I want to interview shortlisted applicants?
Tell us who you intend to interview and then contact the applicants directly to arrange a convenient time for the interview to take place.

Who informs the applicants after the interview as to whether they have been successful or not?
Please liaise directly with both successful and unsuccessful applicants following the interviews to let them know the outcome. It is important that the applicants receive feedback on their interview performance in order to help them make improvements for future interviews.

What happens after I have selected a student/graduate?
Please tell us immediately who you have agreed to employ and liaise with the student/graduate directly regarding start dates, confirmation of salary, contracts etc. We will send you an agreement to sign and a form for you to complete with some basic details about the confirmed internship.

What do I do if my intern is not performing well?
As an employer please follow your usual company procedures for dealing with any performance issues, however please also inform us if there is a problem and we will endeavour to provide reasonable support as appropriate. If necessary we will help you to find a replacement intern should this be the only appropriate course of action.

Can I have more than one intern?
You can employ more than one student/graduate under the internships scheme.
